Rune Nyord is Egyptologist and fellow at Christ’s College in Cambridge, where he has worked on the project Conceptions of the ‘afterlife’ in ancient Egyptian mortuary religion funded by the Carlsberg Foundation since 2014.

His research interests focus on ancient Egyptian conceptions of the body, Mortuary religion, Ontology, Early Christianity, and Pharaonic Egypt.
